He first kidnaps Louise because Harrison thought that Louise was a valuable pet who could be sold for a lot of money. He stole Louise by snagging her when drying her with a tower after it had rained. Harrison then blamed Louise’s disappearance on Jill by saying that Louise escaped because Jill left a gate open when she went to go clean the storage shed. For Harrison’s next kidnapping, he decided to steal Chester, the cat. He does this by making Jill think she accidentally poisoned Chester from when Jill accidentally spilled trash all over the compound and that Chester died. Harrison then realizes that Chester isn’t a special or valuable pet after getting a phone call from Jill saying that Howard and Heather are very valuable and that Heather was expecting babies. After Harrison runs to snatch Howard and Heather, Chester escapes the office and warns Harold, Taxi, and Lyle of what has been happening. Then all three remaining animals start biting, barking, and giving attention to Harrison, which causes Dr. Greenbriar and Jill to find out what Harrison had been doing. They find out that all the missing pets were safe in Harrison’s possession to sell them for money and Dr. Greenbriar says that Harrison has to go to college for 1 year and that he must work at a zoo to pay for school.

Chateau Bow Wow is run by Dr. Greenbriar and his two workers, Harrison and Jill. After Harold and Chester are boarded by Harrison and Jill, they notice a lot of strange events happening at their new home, which they now call the Howliday inn after some strange events. The first night at Howliday Inn is eerie, with howls and storms that can be heard. Chester begins to think that two of the dachshunds in the kennel are werewolves and not dachshunds. Later, some animals start disappearing, like Louise, who is a French poodle that is in a relationship with another dog, Max. After Louise’s disappearance, Chester begins to suspect that Max had something to do with it since Max had been going out with another dog, Georgette, instead of Louise. Chester tries to confirm his suspicions by examining Louise’s kennel and notices how rough her kennel looks, with the water and rug violently moved around. Jill tells Harrison that Louise’s disappearance is her fault because she forgot to close a gate right before she started cleaning a shed in the backyard. Then Chester goes missing after Harrison tells Jill she accidentally poisoned him. Next, Howard and Heather, the two dachshunds, go missing. This was surprising for Harold as he thought they were responsible for Louise’s disappearance. This makes Harold become the detective, so he starts snooping in on the kennel workers and finds out that Chester’s food had been poisoned. Harold then starts to question why every pet has been disappearing at Howliday Inn.
