  • textMid-way through the podcast they talk about how The cell tower pings, are mismatched between the calls, however whenever Jay had the phone, most of the places he said he was in, he truly wasn't.

  • textJay had said after the body was found, that Adnan had forced him to help him bury hays body in Leakin park, after later it was confirmed Adnan was NOT at the scene of Haes dead body, that just leaves Jay unaccounted for.

  • textIt was found abandoned in a small grassy parking lot out in Baltimore. Which somehow only Jay knew the location of, even though he claimed Adnan knew as well.
  • textAdnan had no confirmed reason for wishing ill upon Hae as they went through a seemingly respectful breakup. Friends and family of Adnan claim he is even tempered and beloved .
  • sticky-yellowOn the afternoon that Hae was presumed dead, Jay had possession of Adnans car, PLUS a new phone, of which was pinged near several crucial locations relating to the murder of Hae Min Lee, Giving Jay both a method of transportation, a place to hide the body, and possible near locations, some of which places, were where Jay had said Adnan had showed him the body, while truly, Adnan had an alibi stating he was at the high school library, and later at track practice.
  • sticky-yellowSome of the prosecutors claimed the phone call to Nisha, would prove that Adnan and Jay were together the night Hae disappeared. But Nisha had remembered Jay was working at the video store at the time of the call. HOWEVER, Jay hadn't even started working at the video store, until two weeks later...
  • sticky-yellowAfter some time, Adnans lawyer, had convinced the police to recheck the area where Hae's body was found, and the DNA and fibers found on her body, to which they originally assumed was Adnan's which was in fact not, but just fibers of a vehicles carpet, and some of Hae's own hair, mentioned in episode twelve
  • sticky-yellowIn episode 8, Jay claims that Adnan had asked Hae for a ride, and that Adnan went with her after school, however nobody saw Adnan anywhere near Hae or her car before, during, or after her departure. Where he was in fact, spotted in the high school library instead.
  • sticky-yellowLooking through Hae's diary, showed how even she herself had mentioned that while Adnan was hurt emotionally during the break up, showed no sign of violent or threatening action or emotion, but was in fact understanding and remained friends afterwards.
  • sticky-yellowAdnan had absolutely no signs of a fight, or any signs of struggling that might have occurred on his body, where normally marks , scratches or bruises might be found. Which should have occurred seeing as the turn signal on Hae's car was broken, which she hadn't done either which wouldv'e only caused more marks on Hae's body, which weren't apparent.
  • textAdnan and Hae were dating for awhile before an issue with family and religious had split the two, they left on great conditions and supposedly even stayed friends afterwards.
  • sticky-yellowIn episode five, the cell providers AT&T had mentioned that the pings of incoming calls shouldn't determine location, just their general area as a majority of the time, they aren't overly accurate.
  • sticky-yellowAdnan and Jay often hung out and smoked together, But during the murder of Hae, Jay turned on his acquaintance seemingly trying to convict him any chance he got, wether through lies, misleading efforts, or refusing to speak the whole truth, makes his character rather suspicious. Not to mention how he seemed so desparate to out him.
  • textLike much of the other false information, Jay said that him and Adnan had killed Hae out in broad daylight in the Best Buy parking lot, but that's for numerous reasons obviously not true. Secondly, Hae said she had stopped somewhere else before going to Best Buy, only delaying her arrival to death further, which wouldv'e taken a lot longer than the 21 minute window that Adnan would've had. Third, Jay had mentioned a payphone out in the Best Buy, while the owner of the Best Buy had confirmed there was never ever one n the outside of the property.
  • sticky-yellowTwo things that stand out, are that even though Jay confessed, told all this stuff, he never got into practically ANY trouble. The second thing being that it was rather suspicious how Mr. S just so happened to stumble upon Hae's Body so deep into the park and woods, especially buried none the less? How he had to go to the bathroom between two short drive destinations, one of which he was heading too already, that would've been better options for relieving himself. Makes it feel like the government was trying to keep something on the down low, especially weird with how Jay knowing a lot of details that he probably wouldn't have known.
