sticky-blueEric Ripley, the son of Allan (not by Autumn), is known to hardly disagree with his father. While he engaged in some things that night, they were not related to the murder itself- instead, he helped Jake orchestrate the robbery of the valuable items missing from the Ripley mansion. His intention of robbing his own father's mansion was to sell the valuables to get rid of his debt that he obtained through gambling, not to hurt his father, who was dead when they came in to rob the house.
textFRAMED FOR MURDER
sticky-yellowBecause Jake spoke about Autumn leaving the house before him and Eric went in to rob the mansion-- and the evidence behind Allan already being dead when they came in for the robbery-- Eric and Jake are innocent. The murderer(s)/culprit(s) are Mr. Piper because he wanted to get the money from being a big partner in Ripley Industries and Autumn Ripley because she wanted to be able to be with Mr. Piper and have her inheritance money from Allan's death. This can be concluded because of evidence in Eric and Emma's interviews speaking about how Eric was in good standing with his father, which was contradicting with Mr. Piper's interview saying he wasn't, and because Autumn had lied to Allan saying that she would be staying over at her sister's house, which is not parallel with what was said in both Piper and Mrs. Ripley's interviews saying they were with each other.
