Asa Daribondi was born in Paris. --- 2 DEC 1911: Construction is completed on the Bellefleur House in the Oak Park neighborhood of Chicago: a “Thought Building” designed by Asa Daribondi for the wealthy Fitzroy family. With interleaved, curving rooms and odd, sinuous lines throughout, it was topped by strange spires of glass and metal filagree that made it an eyesore to some. --- 27 MAY 1921: Original permit for construction of the Lundine House, later known as the Macallister Building where Abigail eventually lived. Construction completed in 1924. Architect listed as A. Darabondi (misspelled). --- 30 AUG 1936: A World Without Doors, a novel by 12-year-old child prodigy Emeline F. Fitzroy, is published in paperback. Fitzroy lives in Chicago in the Bellefleur House, a “Thought Building” constructed by Asa Daribondi in 1911. --- 30 AUG 1950: Charles Lundine, the son of the owner of the building and a talented musician, hanged himself in the second-floor ballroom. Emeline F. Fitzroy vanishes in the Bellefleur House at age 26, leaving a suicide note. A fire breaks out in Asa Daribondi's office on Mott Street in lower Manhattan. Found female body after fire, Isabelle Sauer. Aged 20. Dead from drowning. Next to a washtub filled with bloody water. 30 APR 1952: Henry M. Lundine, the owner of the building, was found in the staircase to the roof, dressed in strange “plastic” silver robes, wearing a papier-mâché mask. A brief investigation by the NYPD determined he had died of a massive stroke. 23 JUN 1952: Roger Carun, future tenant of the Macallistar Building, is born in Bellevue Hospital while his mother is visiting her sister in New York City. 2 MAR 1953: Lundine house being refitted as an apartment building. --- 30 AUG 1989: Roger Carun moves into the Macallistar Building. --- 30 AUG 1994: Abigail Wright is mugged by an odd, older man in a silver robe and mask near the roof door of the Macallistar Building. The man demands that she show him “where the tunnels are!” He knocks her down, rifles through her possessions, and runs off. She reports it to the NYPD. The case was never solved. 4 JUN 1995: After several attempts to telephone Abigail Wright, her father Thomas Wright checks her apartment and finds her gone. He calls the NYPD and reports his daughter missing. 5 JUN 1995: The NYPD checks out the apartment. 6–10 JUN 1995: Detectives interview all residents of the Macallistar Building about Abigail Wright’s disappearance, as well as her friends and associates. 22 JUN 1995: Lack of leads puts the Abigail Wright case on the NYPD back burner. 10 JUL 1995: The New York Post publishes an article on Abigail Wright’s disappearance. 4 AUG 1995: Abigail Wright’s Visa card is used to purchase a pack of cigarettes in Patience, Maryland. The case is flagged as a possible interstate kidnapping and the FBI is brought in. 6 AUG 1995: The FBI investigates the Abigail Wright case. Agents travel to Patience, Maryland, to look into the credit card use. 7 AUG 1995: A Delta Green friendly in the New York FBI recognizes an occult symbol in the photographs of Abigail Wright’s apartment. Delta Green is alerted. 9 AUG 1995: Lack of leads in Patience, Maryland, brings the investigation there to an end. 10 AUG 1995: The FBI sends a team to catalog the Abigail Wright apartment. Delta Green inserts a team into the FBI case in Operation ALICE. --- 6 JUN 2015: Michael Witwer takes a flight from Las Vegas to Boston.
